This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect about you, how we use or share such information, how to exercise any rights you may have with respect to your Personal Information, and the safeguards we have in place to reduce the risk of unauthorized access and use.

The Website(s), Mobile Applications, and Services are intended for access and use by residents of the United States of America aged 18 years or older who are accessing or using the Website(s), Mobile Applications, or Services from within the United States. The Website(s), Mobile Applications, and Services are not intended for persons under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information (as defined below in “Information We Collect”) from children under the age of 13.  If we become aware that we have inadvertently received Personal Information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete such information from our records.


Personal Information

We collect information that you choose to provide us online or offline, or that we collect from third parties such as businesses and data services, and that personally identifies you, such as your name, address, zip code, telephone number, e-mail address, gender, date of birth, and other personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”).  We may ask you to provide us with Personal Information when you register with the Website(s) and/or Mobile Applications and at other times.  To perform the Services offered, we may need to collect and distribute your Personal Information to our trusted business partners who fulfill the services you request.  The decision to provide this information is optional.  However, if you choose not to provide the requested information, you may not be able to use some or all of the features of the Website(s), Mobile Applications or Services or we may not be able to fulfill your requested services.  We may use your Personal Information to create a user profile of you.

Usage Data and Site Activity

We automatically collect non-personally identifiable information in connection with the actions you take on the Website(s) and/or Mobile Applications and in connection with using the Services (“Usage Data”).  For example, each time you use the Website(s), we automatically collect the type of web browser you use, your operating system, your Internet Service Provider, your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, the pages you view, the advertisements you engagement with, language used by your device, country and time zone of your device, and the time and duration of your visits to the Website(s), the website(s) you visited prior to visiting our Website(s), the website(s) you visit after leaving our Website(s), and your other online activity over time. We may also gather information regarding your engagement with emails. We may associate your Usage Data with your user profile, in which case your Usage Data may become Personal Information if the Usage Data may be used to personally identify you.


We may use cookies (a small file placed on your computer) to assist in associating your PII and Usage Data with a unique profile.  We use cookies to improve the experience of the Website(s) and Services, such as saving your preferences from visit to visit to present you with a customized version of the Website.  Most web browsers are initially set up to accept cookies but have settings that allow you to reject or be notified about cookies. We may associate Usage Data gathered through cookies with your user profile. 

Engagement Tracking

We may employ software technology that enables us to track certain aspects of a user's visit to the Website(s) and engagement with emails.  The software typically uses three methods to track User activity: (1) "pixel tags," (2) "web beacons," and (3) “javascript.”  These tools use unique identifiers. This technology helps us better manage communications and promotions by informing us when you take certain actions. We may associate Usage Data gathered through these tools with your user profile.

If you arrive at the Website(s) by "clicking through" from another website, then certain information about you that you provided to that other website, such as the terms you were searching on that website that led you to the Website or personal information you provided on that website, may be transmitted to us and we may use it.  You should review the Privacy Policy of any website from which you reached the Website(s) in order to determine what information was collected by that website and for what purpose(s) you agreed that website could use that information. We may or may not retain information about you provided to us by other websites.  If we do, we will only use it in accordance with this Privacy Policy. 

Web Server Logs

We use log files to collect and store user information such as IP address, browser type, Internet Service Provider, referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time, and number of clicks. We may associate such Usage Data to your user profile and analyze it for a variety of purposes such as operating and improving the Website(s), analyzing user behavior and trends, and gathering demographic information. We may associate server log Usage Data with your user profile.

Brower Analysis Tools

You may choose to install use browser extensions, add-ons or similar plug-in technologies that may also collect and use your Usage Data and Personal Information in a variety of ways. For example, these tools may track your browsing activity on our Website(s) or other websites and share that information with third-parties for their use in providing you advertising, content, surveys, offers, promotions, and rewards, or for other marketing, administrative, and business purposes. If we receive Usage Data or Personal Information via a browser analysis tool, we may associate such information with your user profile.

Geo-Location Technology & Mobile Applications

We use geo-location technologies to determine the city and/or geo-coordinates of your location, including whether you are using a mobile device. Our Mobile Applications may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, location, mobile device type, mobile device unique identifier, mobile device IP address, mobile operating system, mobile Internet browser, and Mobile Application use information. We may associate geo-location and other information gathered from the Mobile Applications with your user profile.

Social Media Widgets

The Website(s) and/or Mobile Applications may include social media features, such as the Facebook Like button, Google Plus, Pinterest, and Twitter widgets.  These features may collect information about your IP address and the pages you visit on our site.  A cookie may be set to ensure that a feature properly functions.  Your interactions with features are governed by the privacy policies of the companies that provide them.   



We use Personal Information for internal purposes, such as to

  • Provide you with the Website(s), Mobile Applications, and Services;
  • Process or complete transactions requested by you;
  • Improve the Website(s), Mobile Applications, and Services, including customization and personalization;
  • Notify you of our and our business partners’ products and services via mail, email, telephone, text messaging, and online advertisements;

Surveys and Contests

From time-to-time our Website(s), Mobile Applications, and/or Services may request Personal Information from users via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and you have a choice whether or not to disclose Personal Information.  The requested information typically includes contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code). Contact information will be shared with the contest or survey sponsors to notify the winners, award prizes, or execute the survey. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of the Website, Mobile Applications, and/or Services. Users' Personal Information collected through surveys or contest entries may be shared with our trusted business partners and other third parties as permitted by this Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Providers

From time to time, we may establish a relationship with other businesses whom we believe are trustworthy and whom we believe have privacy practices that are consistent with ours (“Third-Party Providers”).  For example, we may contract with Third-Party providers to provide certain services such as hosting and maintenance, marketing and promotions, communications (mail, email, text messages, calls), payment processing, data storage and management, lead scoring and validation services to confirm the contact information you provide.  We only provide our Third-Party Providers with the information necessary for them to perform these services on our behalf.  Each Third-Party Provider is expected to use reasonable security measures appropriate to the nature of the information involved to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure.  Third Party Providers are prohibited from using Personal Information other than as specified by us. 

We may also work with third-party websites, publishers, advertisers, lead aggregators/generators, brokers, agencies, service providers (such as job, career, and education websites), search providers, and ad networks (collectively, “Information Providers”).  Information Providers may collect, use, and provide to us information about your use of the Website(s), Mobile Applications, and/or Services as well as other websites and services. We may use this information to provide advertisements about goods or services that may be of interest to you. Advertisements may be shown via the Website(s), Mobile Applications, the Services, or on third-party websites.    Our Privacy Policy does not cover any use of information that an Information Provider may collect from you except to the extent that such use is by us and, in that instance, only to the extent of our use of such information.  You can visit the Network Advertising Initiative website at to learn more about Internet advertising companies and how to opt out of their information collection.

Third Party Sharing

We may share your Personal Information and Usage Data with Third Parties to market products or services likely to be of interest to you, provide you with special offers and opportunities, and better customize your online experience through placement of cookies and other technologies such as pixel tags and web beacons (collectively, “Advertisers”).

By providing your Personal Information to us, you agree that such act constitutes an inquiry and/or application for purposes of the Federal Trade Commission’s Telemarketing Sales Rule (16 C.F.R. § 310, et seq.) and applicable state do-not-call regulations. By providing a telephone number to us in response to an advertisement, you agree that such act constitutes a request for telephone communication (call or text message) regarding the types of products or services advertised. If you provide a telephone number to us, you also consent to receiving marketing telephone calls and text messages from us, including artificial voice calls and pre-recorded messages, sent using an automatic telephone dialing system to the telephone number you provided. We recognize the importance of safeguarding the confidentiality of your Personal Information.  Accordingly, we employ reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect such Personal Information from unauthorized access, disclosure, and use.  However, no data transmission over the Internet or other network can be guaranteed 100% secure.  As a result, while we strive to protect information transmitted on or through our Website(s) and/or Mobile Applications we cannot and do not guarantee the security of any information you transmit on our Website(s) and/or Mobile Applications, and you do so at your own risk.


Do Not Track is a web browser privacy preference that causes the web browser to broadcast a signal to websites requesting that a user’s activity not be tracked.  At this time, our systems do not respond to “do not track” signals.


Please be aware that our affiliated institutions, promotional partners, advertisers, sponsors, and other third-party websites accessible through the Website(s) or Mobile Applications may have their own privacy and data collection policies and practices.  We are not responsible for any actions, content of websites, or privacy policies of such third parties.  You should check the applicable privacy policies of those third parties when providing information through linked websites.


We cooperate with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law.  We may disclose Personal Information and any other information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties if, in our discretion, we believe it is necessary or appropriate to respond to legal requests (including court orders and subpoenas), to protect the safety, property, or rights of ourselves, users, or any other third party, to prevent or stop any illegal, unethical, or legally actionable activity, or to comply with law.


We may share Personal Information and Usage Data with businesses controlling, controlled by, or under common control with us.  If we are merged, acquired or sold, or in the event of a transfer of some or all of our assets, we may disclose or transfer Personal Information and Usage Data in connection with such transaction.  You will have the opportunity to opt out of any such transfer if, in our reasonable judgement, the new entity plans to handle your information in a way that differs materially from this policy. 


We retain your Personal Information and Usage Data for as long as we have a relationship with you.  We also retain your Personal Information and Usage Data for a period of time after our relationship with you has ended where there is an ongoing business need to retain it.  This includes, but is not limited to, retention to comply with our legal, regulatory, tax and/or accounting obligations.  We do so in accordance with our data retention policies and applicable law.
